Barça Ready for First Game at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday

The club confirmed they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Basque side in the Spanish league two and a half years following their departure so building work could begin.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.

Recent Activities

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt in December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
