Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
